Donald Trump’s First Endorsements are Coming in – And One is Proving to Be Very Controversial

Fresh off a CPAC speech that rocked the house and a promise that his work was far from being over, we are seeing a new political endorsement under Donald Trump’s “America First” agenda.

On Thursday, Donald Trump had endorsed Kansas Senator Jerry Moran.

“Former President Donald Trump has endorsed Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran for reelection in 2022, early backing that makes it unlikely the two-term Republican will face a serious challenge in the GOP primary,” the AP reported.

Interestingly, we also now know an endorsement Donald Trump didn’t make: Former state GOP chair Jane Timken for Ohio’s 2022 U.S. Senate race.

But the controversial endorsement that Donald Trump did make today: Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina.

Although Scott is a strong conservative, many Trump supporters seemed unhappy about the endorsement.

Robert Barnes believes the decision is a poor one due to his advisers.
Personally, I believe Tim Scott is a solid conservative and an excellent spokesperson for the Republican Party. Donald Trump’s rationale for making the endorsement is the same reason he didn’t form a third party: Only a unified party can defeat the dangerous Democratic Party.
