Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany will officially join Fox News as a contributor.

During a segment on “Outnumbered,” host Harris Faulkner announced that McEnany would be joining the network.

Faulkner did not specify what McEnany’s role will be at the company.

“It is my distinct pleasure to welcome Kayleigh McEnany to the Fox family,” Faulkner said. “We will be seeing much more of her.”

McEnany also discussed her relationship with Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

“I wish her all the best. I left her a note saying that much, we’ve met previously, one time, and she was very kind,” McEnany said. “So were some of her colleagues in the press shop and I left her a note, I wish her the best.”

McEnany explained the difference in the way the mainstream media treats Psaki compared to its handling of the Trump administration.

“I’ll never forget watching one of the early press briefings where she was asked about Antifa riots and I believe she said that she hadn’t spoken to the president about that. They let her move on, whereas if I would have been asked that about violence on the other side of the aisle… that wouldn’t have been an answer that flew, nor should it have,” McEnany said, adding that some reporters in the briefing room acted like “political operatives.”

“I think the standards are different but the American people are so smart, so wise, they see the difference.”

McEnany and Faulker then discussed President Trump’s weekend address to the Conservative Political Action Conference.

During his CPAC speech on Sunday, Trump announced the names of Republicans that he plans to target and go after in the near future.

“I will be actively working to elect strong, tough, and smart Republican leaders,” Trump claimed.

“The Democrats don’t have grandstanders like Mitt Romney, little Ben Sasse, Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey,” Trump stated.

“And in the house, Tom Rice, South Carolina, Adam Kinzinger, Dan Newhouse, Anthony Gonzalez, that’s another beauty, Fred Upton, Jaime Herrera Beutler, Peter Meijer, John Katko, David Valadao, and of course the warmonger, a person that loves seeing our troops fighting, Liz Cheney, how about that?” he added.

“The good news is in her state, she’s been censured, and in her state, her poll numbers have dropped faster than any human being I’ve ever seen,” Trump added.

Trump also said he is not going to create a new political party, despite reports that he was considering doing so, saying that there was no need to because “we have the Republican Party.”

“We will do what we’ve done right from the beginning, which is to win,” Trump said.

“We’re not starting new parties. You know, they kept saying, ‘He’s going to start a brand new party.’ We have the Republican Party; it’s going to unite and be stronger than ever before. I am not starting a new party. That was fake news,” he added.
